Chris Stewart is a third-generation real estate professional and Managing Director of LJ Hooker Toowoomba and LJ Hooker Commercial & Residential Toowoomba and South West Queensland, leading a team of more than 40 property professionals across the region. He is also a Director of LJ Hooker Commercial Sunshine Coast, established by the Stewart family to extend the group's reach into one of Queensland's fastest-growing business markets.

With more than a decade in the property industry, Chris is recognised as one of the leading commercial real estate specialists in the wider Toowoomba region. He continues a legacy established by his grandparents, Claire and Patrick Stewart, and his parents, Mike and Julie Stewart, each of whom have played significant roles in shaping the local and state property industry through major developments stretching from Townsville in the north to Ballina in the south and west to Roma and beyond.

Chris began his career in property development with FKG Group before joining LJ Hooker Commercial in 2017, progressing to Associate Director in 2019 and, in December 2023, to full Partner and Director of the group with day-to-day leadership of operations across Toowoomba and Western Queensland. His development background gives him a comprehensive understanding of feasibility analysis, development delivery and stakeholder engagement, and he is recognised for his strategic thinking, deep market knowledge and ability to manage complex transactions involving developers, investors and corporate occupiers. Specialising in investment sales, commercial sales and leasing, and project marketing, he has facilitated some of the region's most significant transactions across large-format retail, multi-tenanted CBD investments, industrial estates and development sites.

Chris's results have been consistently recognised at state and national level. He was named the REIQ's Commercial Salesperson of the Year — Settled Commissions in both 2022 and 2023, and has been named LJ Hooker International Champion Commercial Salesperson in 2023, 2024 and 2025, most recently taking out both the Number of Transactions and Income categories at the 2025 International Awards, where LJ Hooker Commercial Toowoomba was also crowned International Champion Sales Office (Commercial) in both categories. He is an active member of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) and the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce Young Leaders program.
