Even from the beginning, Gordon's impressive career has been built on a foundation of hard work. He was named 'Rookie of the Year' as a 19-year-old kid working in Sutherland, and today, he is the Principal and Licensee in Charge of LJ Hooker Newport and is part of the LJ Hooker partnership between Newport, Avalon & Palm Beach.
Along with being awarded Best Business Growth in NSW in 2001 and 2007, and Franchise Owner of the Year in 2019, he is a life member of the prestigious LJ Hooker Multi-Million Dollar Chapter and is consistently in the top 5% of the company internationally.
Gordon's sincere, no-nonsense approach has been greatly appreciated by his clients over the years, evident by his trail of satisfied clients and repeat business. When talking of his team, he proudly describes them as an extended family of industry leaders who genuinely enjoy listening to people's individual stories to help best guide them in flipping a new page on their property journey.
As a proud local of the Northern Beaches and devoted family man, Gordon speaks with great admiration about the natural beauty and wonderful sense of community of the area, evoking the simple pleasure of being able to cross the street from his family home and join his wife and three daughters for a dip in the ocean-he considers himself lucky to promote this same blissful life to others.

Liz Charlton
Born and raised on the Northern Beaches in Newport, Liz is a true local. Having schooled at Newport Primary then onto Pittwater High.
After school Liz worked at the local favourites, Barrenjoey House and the Boathouse, both at Palm Beach. Liz saved enough to head to Europe to travel and experience many countries and then returned to London and worked at Soho House, expanding her customer service knowledge.
Returning home she discovered her passion for Real Estate, starting out as a sales assistant in Palm Beach. Here she got to learn many facets and roles within the industry.
Liz joined LJ Hooker Newport in 2021 as our Director of First Impressions and quickly adopted more responsibilities including Social Media Manager.
Liz's can-do attitude and ability to learn and quickly progress, was a clear standout for the position as Gordon's Personal Assistant.
