Being passionate about our local area
Growing up in the St George area, (more specifically Sans Souci), and having the privilege to work in Brighton-Le-Sands (and the whole of the St George for that matter), has made me love our local community, history & folklore that comes along with it.
From the local stories of the older inhabitants of the area, to the new comers fresh experiences embarking on a life along side Botany Bay, creating and adding to stories that are unique to our area that no where else in Sydney can stake a claim is just some of the reasons why I am passionate about our area.
From seeing the first flights out of Sydney via our stretch of beach, having the longest running Steam Tramway network in Australia and more specifically being the birthplace of what we know as modern Australia.
We are a community of generations reveling in the all that our area has to offer... the area we call home.
